Graduation Day

Schedule: The graduation day is scheduled towards the end of the academic year. Parents and guardians are invited to attend the graduation day.

Programme Schedule: The ceremony begins with a formal graduation procession followed by the Commencement speech, speeches by the student and faculty representatives, distribution of certificates, presentation of proficiency prizes and awards and a photo session. Dinner is served to all graduating students, their parents and guardians at the end of the event.

Eligibility to attend Graduation Ceremony Only those students who have adequate attendance percentage and have appeared for the University examinations (at the first appearance opportunity) are eligible to attend the graduation ceremony. Students who are not present for the rehearsal will not be eligible to attend the event. Proficiency Prizes and Special Awards During the graduation ceremony, proficiency prizes are awarded to the toppers of each course, based on the results of University examinations. The winners are awarded certificates and cash prizes during the graduation ceremony. Special awards like Kalaprathibha, Best Outgoing student, Best Student of the year, Best Sportsman and Best Sportswoman of the outgoing batch are given away during the graduation ceremony. The winners are awarded certificates and cash prizes during the graduation ceremony. Endowment Prizes, instituted by various benefactors are also given to the students on this occasion.
