B. Sc - Psychology, Journalism, Computer Science

Psychology introduces the students to various psychological processes with a view to developing a holistic outlook towards life and prepares them for a great career ahead. This programme offers papers from different disciplines of psychology along with laboratory and field experience, elementary statistics and research. The major objective of the course is to impart core knowledge in primary disciplines of psychology and its relevance in the current context.

The Journalism course aims at moulding the students for a career in Journalism, both print and broadcast, and in allied fields like Advertising, Films, and Public Relations. The course introduces various facets of the profession of Journalism to the students with theoretical knowledge and on-the-job training.

In today’s world, knowledge of computer science and a fair understanding of it has become a priority. Undergraduate study in computer science helps a student with theoretical foundations of information and computation, taking a scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications. Along with it, the student also becomes proficient in programming languages, computer architecture, concepts of operating system analysis and design, data structures, numerical methods, concept of database management systems and business data processing.
