Department of Computer Science Organized Industrial Visit
Department of Computer Science organized an Industrial Visit to STPI (Software Technology Parks of India), Bangalore on February 5, 2016 for all the students of BCA II year .The students were accompained by Ms. Menaka C, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Computer Science and Mr. Shinil M K, System Administrator. STPI is an autonomous society under Ministry of Communication and Information Technology,Dept. of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India. Here the students were provided with the oppurtunity to know about working techniques and schemes related to computer networks,enterprenuer skills d to start up new organization. Recipro- celebration of culture and food
St Claret College celebrated the seventh edition of Recipro, a festival of food and culture on February 6, 2016. The annual event provided a platform for the students to embrace the culture and showcase different ethnicity. Kannada actors Mr Sourav Lokesh, and Sahana were the chief guest of the day.
The college was divided into six teams. Each team had students from various states which helped promote diversity and a variety of cultures. Different cultures- various dances, music and performance, were showcased during the fest. An ethnic fashion show was also held where each team displayed beautiful avatars from various places.
The main aim of the event is to reciprocate what one has received to the society. This year Recipro intended to raise fund for medical need and education purpose of the underprivileged in the society. The proceeds of the event which included the money collected from the sale of lottery booklets for charity.
There was also a lucky draw conducted during the programme. Following are the winning numbers.

Swachh Bharath Rally organised
Social Action Forum (SAF) and Environmental Club jointly organised 'Swachh Bharath' rally on 28th January 2016, in the vicinity of the college. The rally aimed to create awareness about cleanliness, hygiene and planting of trees. Students made posters and placards for this cause. CSA visited Thritwa Ashram
Christian Student Association (CSA) of St Claret College organised a visit to Thritwa Ashram, a home for the abandoned woman from the street, in Thanisandra, Bangalore on January 23, 2016. The initiative was a part of the annual outreach programmes of CSA to help the underprivileged of the society.
