Procedures to Obtain Academic Documents

(BU-affiliated / Non-Autonomous Batches)

Procedure to Obtain the Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) from the College

The Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) is required for higher studies and placements until you receive your Convocation Certificate.

  1. The PDC can be collected in person or through an authorised representative by sending an email with the authorised person’s details to:
  2. Submit:
    • Copy of all six-semester mark cards downloaded from Digi Locker
    • Filled PDC application form
  3. Pay ₹500 at the college office or through online transfer.

Procedure to Obtain the Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) from Bangalore University

  1. Download the PDC application form from the Bangalore University website.
  2. Pay the prescribed fee online through the BU portal.
  3. Get the filled application form attested at the college office.
  4. Submit the following at the BU office:
    • Filled and attested application form
    • Copies of all six-semester/four-semester mark cards downloaded from Digi Locker and attested by the Principal
    • Original PDC obtained from the college

Procedure to Obtain the Transfer Certificate (TC)

  1. The TC can be collected in person or through an authorised representative by sending an email with the authorised person’s details to:
  2. Submit:
    • Request letter for TC from the college where admission has been secured or provisional admission letter
    • Copies of all six-semester mark cards downloaded from Digi Locker
    • Filled TC application form
  3. Pay ₹200 at the college office or through online transfer.

Procedure to Obtain the Migration Certificate (MC)

  1. Download the MC application form from the Bangalore University website.
  2. Pay the prescribed fee online through the BU portal.
  3. Get the filled application form attested at the college office.
  4. Obtain a No Due Certificate from the college office.
  5. Submit the following to the BU office:
    • Filled and attested application form
    • Copies of all six-semester mark cards downloaded from Digi Locker and attested by the Principal
    • No Due Certificate from the college

Procedure to Obtain Tatkal Convocation Certificate from Bangalore University

  1. Download the Tatkal PDC application form from the Bangalore University website.
  2. Pay the prescribed fee online through the BU portal.
  3. Get the application form attested at the college office.
  4. Submit:
    • Filled and attested application form
    • Copies of all six-semester mark cards downloaded from Digi Locker and attested by the Principal
    • Original PDC obtained from the college

Procedure to Obtain a Letter of Recommendation (LOR)

The Letter of Recommendation (LOR) is required for higher studies and placements.

  1. The LOR can be collected in person or through an authorised representative by sending an email with the authorised person’s details to:
  2. Submit:
    • Copies of all six-semester mark cards downloaded from Digi Locker
    • Request letter for issuing the LOR

Procedure to Obtain Hard Copies of Mark Cards / Convocation Certificate from Bangalore University

Submit the following documents to the BU office:

  1. Letter from the Principal on official letterhead
  2. Provisional admission letter from the college/university or offer letter from the company, attested by the Principal
  3. Copies of all six-semester/four-semester mark cards downloaded from Digi Locker and attested by the Principal
Note: Hard copies are issued only to students seeking admission to foreign universities or placements abroad.

Procedure to Download Bangalore University Mark Cards and Degree Certificates Through Digi Locker

  1. Log in to Digi Locker via the website or mobile app.
  2. Go to Search Documents or Browse Documents.
  3. Under the Education category, select Bangalore University.
  4. Select:
    • Degree Certificate or
    • Marksheet.
  5. Enter:
    • Roll Number (UUCMS Register Number)
    • Registration Number (UUCMS Register Number)
    • Month and Year of Examination
  6. Tick the consent checkbox and click Get Document.
  7. Download the documents from the Issued Documents section.
Note: Students who have been declared successful in the Degree Examination are required to pay the prescribed Bangalore University (BU) fees through the BU portal /UUCMS portal after the BU notification for applying for the Degree Certificate is released. This notification will be communicated to students by the respective HODs/Mentors.

The Degree Certificate will be uploaded to Digi Locker after the Annual Convocation of Bangalore University, which is generally held in September or October each year.

Note for Outstation Students

Outstation students can apply online to obtain PDC/TC.
