PG Department of M.Sc. Data Science

The Master of Science in Data Science is a two-year postgraduate program that offers an interdisciplinary approach to data-driven problem solving. Combining concepts from statistics, computer science, artificial intelligence, and domain knowledge, the program equips students with both theoretical foundations and practical skills to manage, analyze, and interpret complex datasets. Offered by the Post Graduate Department of Computer Science, the program is structured across four full-time semesters, culminating in a major project in the final semester. Eligibility Admission to M.Sc., Data Science is open to candidates who have passed B.Sc. Data Science / Computer Science / BCA with not less than 50% marks as aggregate or Candidates who have passed B.Sc., Mathematics / Statistics / Physics / Electronics with Computer Science or Data Science as one of the Core / Elective courses. Candidates who have completed B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with a P.G. Diploma / Certificate Course in Computer Science of one-year duration are also eligible.
