The experiential learning strategy, ADVITIYA, is implemented to enhance students’ confidence levels by transforming experiences into knowledge. LAKSHYA, a notable initiative, fosters research aptitude among students in a distinctive manner.

The department organizes extension programs, skill development workshops, peer-teaching, project-based learning, cross-over learning and e-learning activities, offering students a unique and valuable learning experience. Skill enhancement activities managed through the IT Club, encompass programs such as INSPIRE, TECHNOPHILIA and TECHNOVATION. The e-bulletin of the department, e-waves, serves as a platform for students to showcase their intellectual, professional, and creative contributions. To gain authentic information about the functioning of companies, students are provided opportunities for educational trips and industrial visits. For students desiring immediate entry into the workforce upon graduation, the department, in collaboration with the Training and Placement Centre of SCC, ensures placement in reputable companies. The Faculty Development Program, PRAJNAN, focuses on relevant topics, enhancing the knowledge of faculty members and contributing further to the teaching-learning process within the Department of Computer Science.
