Achievements and Milestones

Since its inception in 2014, the Department of Tourism and Travel Management at St Claret College (Autonomous) has achieved remarkable milestones in academics, research, and co-curricular excellence. Guided by a team of dedicated and experienced faculty members, the department continues to uphold its reputation for academic distinction and holistic student development.

MILESTONES

• 2014: Inception of the B.Com Tourism and Travel Management program.
• 2017: Achieved University Ranks – 1st, 2nd, and 5th positions in Bangalore University examinations.
• 2018: B.Com (Vocational) student secured 2nd Rank in Bangalore University exams.
• 2019: Collaboration with Indiatourism – Ministry of Tourism, Government of India for the promotion of tourism in Karnataka through multiple student-led events and campaigns.
• 2021–2024: Continued academic excellence with consistent University Rank holders and increased student participation in national-level fests, conferences, and research forums.
• 2023: Registered the Yuva Tourism Club of St. Claret College under Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS The department has consistently produced University Rank Holders at the undergraduate level under Bangalore University.
