The Department of Tourism and Travel Management proudly celebrates Tourism Week – VOYAGE, a week-long fest that truly captures the spirit of exploration and discovery. Each day of the celebration is themed around a key facet of the tourism industry — such as Adventure Tourism, Ecotourism, and Heritage Tourism — offering students a vibrant platform to showcase their creativity, leadership, and event management skills. VOYAGE is more than a celebration; it’s an immersive learning experience where students take charge of conceptualizing, organizing, and hosting activities that reflect the dynamic world of global tourism.
PRAVAS, the Department’s flagship intercollegiate Tourism Fest, provides students with the unique opportunity to design and host a large-scale event that welcomes participants from both degree and pre-university colleges. The fest features a series of intellectually stimulating and skill-based competitions such as Itinerary Design, Best Tour Manager, Hidden Gems and Product Launch among others. Through PRAVAS, the department showcases its academic excellence, organizational strength, and unity of purpose — offering students invaluable exposure to teamwork, professionalism, and the competitive spirit of the tourism industry.
